Wichita State University announced the hiring of former Murray State and Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy to its staff last night. Kennedy is expected to be on the sideline for interim coach Issac Brown, who considers Kennedy a mentor, when the Shockers open play in the Crossover Classic Wednesday in Sioux Falls, SD.
Auburn men’s basketball will not be going to any postseason tournaments next spring. The program has issued a self-imposed ban. It comes after an investigation into 2017 bribery charges against former assistant coach Chuck Person, who was sentenced just last year.
