Nominations are now being accepted for Hopkinsville’s holiday decoration awards.
Organizers say recognition will be given in two categories. The Best Decorated Residence award will go to twelve private homes, one in each ward, and Best Decorated Business will go to one business. Nominees will be judged on use of decorations, creativity and theme.
To enter or to nominate a home or business, phone in your nomination to Public Works at 270-890-0703, enter on the Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook page, or by entering on the city website at hopkinsvilleky.us/services/beautification and using the form to enter.
Entries must be received by 4:00pm on December 18. Homes and businesses will be judged the week of December 23rd and announced on the Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook Page on Monday, December 28th.
Winners receive a certificate of recognition and will be featured in the Kentucky New Era, Hopkinsville Beautification Facebook page, and the city website.
