Jake Scott-one of the members of the Miami Dolphins undefeated team of 1972-died Thursday in Atlanta at age 75. The University of Georgia graduate was the MVP of Super Bowl VII and had five Pro Bowl appearances. He was also the Southeastern Conference MVP in 1968 by the Nashville Banner. Scott still holds the SEC record for most interceptions for touchdowns in a single game with two against Kentucky in 1968.

Family and friends honored the life of football legend Paul Hornung today in his hometown of Louisville. The Heisman Trophy winner and NFL and College Football Hall of Famer died last week at the age of 84 after a lengthy battle with dementia. His funeral was held at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. He was a star at Notre Dame and with the Green Bay Packers.
