Princeton’s Emma Talley had a six over 76 Thursday in the opening round of the LPGA Tour’s Pelican Women’s Championship outside of Tampa. Sophia Popov at six under 64 has a two shot lead going into today’s second round.
On the PGA Tour at the RSM Classic in Sea Island, GA, Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is tied for 132nd at four over 74. Matt Wallace and Camilo Villegas at six under 64 share the lead.
