Two charged with attempted murder in Clarksville shooting

 

 

 

 

 

The Clarksville Police Department has arrested two people in relation to a shooting incident that occurred last weekend on Roselawn Drive.

According to a news release, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Roselawn and discovered a home that had been struck by gunfire, with the shots having been fired from a vehicle.  Investigation determined that 35-year old Richard Kenny Woodson fired the shots and 19-year old Deshaya Allen was present in the vehicle when the incident occurred.

Kenny was charged with attempted murder, as several people were inside the residence when it was struck, and his bond was set at $5.5 million. Woodson had reportedly been out on bond for a previous homicide charge.

Allen was charged with attempted murder and had bond set at $500,000.
