The deadline to enter a float or unit in Hopkisnville’s Reverse Christmas Parade December 12 has been extended.
The new deadline is Wednesday, November 25 and Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says you can find a registration form on their website or at their office on Thomas Street.
Parade attendees will remain in their vehicle and drive past the parade entries north to south along Main Street beginning near First Street between 5:15 and 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, December 12.
The first-of-its-kind event is to prevent crowds from gathering downtown and to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
