Chicago Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein is stepping down. The team announced he will leave his role effective November 20th. Executive VP/general manager Jed Hoyer will take over as president. Epstein departs the Windy City after nine seasons which included five postseason berths. In 2016, he helped guide the Cubs to their first World Series title since 1908.
