A single-vehicle wreck Monday night on KY 80 in Calloway County sent the driver to the hospital and resulted in him being charged with DUI.
Investigation by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office determined 21-year old Eddie Carter of Mayfield had been westbound near Cook Store Road when his vehicle crossed the median, went off the road and struck a guardrail.
Carter was taken by EMS to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and was cited into court for DUI and driving on a suspended license.
