WLEX-Lexington reports Fayette County Public Schools announced Sunday that all winter sports have been paused for the next two weeks due to Covid-19. However, six schools that have teams playing in the KHSAA Football playoffs will be allowed to continue practices. The decision on whether winter sports will be allowed to go on will take place November 30th.
Meanwhile, the KHSAA Board of Control meets Wednesday to discuss whether the football playoffs will go on and plans for winter sports.
