Christian County saw its highest day of new confirmed COVID-19 cases yet Monday, with 69 new cases reported.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department and puts the overall total of cases at 2,500—of that, 365 cases are considered active and 2,099 people have recovered from the virus. Christian County has had 36 COVID-19 related deaths.
Officials are pleading with the community to do what they can to get the spread of the virus under control. Limit your contact with people outside of your household as much as possible, wear face masks in public and frequently and thoroughly wash your hands.
