Two arrested for alleged attempted burglary at local pharmacy

Two people were arrested early Friday morning for an attempted burglary at Tom’s Family Pharmacy on Country Club Lane.

Hopkinsville police were called to the business after a man was observed busting the cameras in the back of the building. A police report says Officer Jeremy Davidson could hear and see individuals running in the woods when he arrived a little before 2 a.m.

Another officer caught 39-year old Glenn Budd of Hopkinsville as he ran out of a wood line behind Wise Staffing Group along Country Club Lane and police say a bag was found on the woods containing tools commonly used in burglaries.

The second suspect, 31-year old Misty Gaddis of Bowling Green, was arrested after she was stopped in a pickup observed leaving the area of Tom’s Pharmacy.

Police say she had a walkie talkie, an electric saw, multiple ropes and a dolly in the back of the truck.

Budd was charged with third-degree attempted burglary, fleeing or evading police, tampering with evidence, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief.

Gaddis is charged with complicity to attempted third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools and driving on a suspended license.
