The Miami Marlins announced today Kim Ng will become the team’s new general manager. Ng brings 30 years of experience to the position. She has also worked for the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and in the MLB Commissioner’s office. She’s believed to be the first female general manager hired by a professional sports team in North America.
