The Courier Journal reports Jefferson County Public Schools will allow teams to play in the KHSAA football playoffs next week. However, seven schools across the Commonwealth have withdrawn from playing in the post season. They are: Caverna, Southern, Fairview, Covington Holy Cross, Garrard County, Bourbon County and Campbell County.
Meanwhile, the KHSAA Board of Control meets Wednesday to discuss the football playoffs and what will happen with winter sports.
