The Christian County Chamber of Commerce has once again been given five-star accreditation by the United States Chamber of Commerce.
According to a news release, in order to receive accreditation a chamber must meet minimum standards in their operations and programs, including areas of governance, government affairs, and technology. This extensive self-review can take six to nine months to complete. Local chambers are rated Accredited, three-stars, four-stars, or five-stars.
President and CEO Kelli Pendleton says, “Our team worked hard on this endeavor and we are proud of this accomplishment. I am also grateful to our Board of Directors for their continued support and dedication to not only our chamber, but our community.”
