Christian County had another high day of COVID-19 cases, with 45 new confirmed cases from Thursday to Friday.
According to the update, that raises the overall total in the county up to 2,393—of that, 314 cases are considered active and 2,044 people have recovered. There are 50 active cases in the pediatric age group, 171 are in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 82 in the older adult category and 11 in the elderly age group.
Christian County has had 35 COVID-19 related deaths.
