Trigg County adds 12 new COVID cases, Todd four

Trigg County reported one of its largest one-day spikes of new COVID-19 cases during the pandemic Tuesday at 12 and Todd County had four new cases.

All of Trigg County’s new cases are adults between the ages of 22 and 88 and 11 of them are at home and one is hospitalized.

Trigg County has now had 301 total cases, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department, which reports Caldwell County gained 16 new cases Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Todd County Health Department says their four new cases are all otherwise healthy adults isolating at home. Two have mild symptoms, one has mild to moderate symptoms and one has moderate.

Twenty-five of Todd County’s 333 cases are healing at home, 295 have recovered and there have been 13 deaths.
