Fire destroyed a home Thursday morning on North Old Madisonville Road in Crofton.
Crofton firefighters were called to 196 North Old Madisonville a little before 9:30 a.m. and found heavy smoke and flames, according to Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham, who says the residence was a total loss.
One person was displaced and cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No one was injured in the blaze.
Other area fire departments were called in for mutual aid.
