Titans to release LB Beasley today

Multiple reports say the Tennessee Titans have told linebacker Vic Beasley Jr. he will be released today. Tennessee signed Beasley to a one-year nine-and-a-half million-dollar contract in March. Beasley reported to camp 10 days late with an unexcused absence and was fined five-hundred thousand dollars. He did not play until week three and made only three tackles and forced a fumble.

Tennessee also released veterans Johnathan Joseph and Beau Brinkley Tuesday. The Titans welcome the Chicago Bears to Nissan Stadium Sunday.
