Robert Torian, the man charged in the 2019 shooting death of Terrill Moore, is waiting on evidence to be turned over to the defense in the case.
Torian is represented by multiple attorneys now, including Byrd, who requested a pretrial hearing be set for some time in December to give the defense team time to review all the evidence and for lab results to be turned over.
Judge Andrew Self set a pretrial hearing for December 16, with the hope that all evidence will be turned over by that time. Torian also requested to receive a copy of the evidence for himself.
The original arrest warrant from Hopkinsville police says Torian and Moore had been in an argument while both were passengers in a vehicle on McHenry Street in August of 2019. Torian was in the back seat when he exited, opened the front passenger door and allegedly shot Moore in the head.
