Todd County announces another COVID death, Trigg has eight new cases

The Todd County Health Department has announced another COVID-19 related death and Trigg County has eight new cases.

There have now been 13 total deaths in Todd County. Public Health Director Jen Harris notes that about half of the county’s 26 active cases are African-American, which is disproportionate to Todd County’s population.

She says she will be reaching out to leaders in the community to address concerns and to find solutions to slow the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, all eight new cases in Trigg County are adults between the ages of 29 and 75 and they are all isolated at home. Trigg County has had 267 total cases.

Caldwell County spiked again over the weekend, announcing 21 new cases—all adults healing at home—since Friday.
