ESPN reports Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence will travel to the Notre Dame game Saturday but will not play. Lawrence has been quarantined due to a positive Covid-19 test, but won’t play until he clears the cardiac protocol. Lawrence is expected to return to practice next week.
Purdue’s game with Wisconsin scheduled for this week has been canceled due to Covid-19 issues. In a statement, Purdue officials say they understand the Badgers reasons to cancel based on medical advice and to control any additional transmission of the virus within the team and staff.
