Two new COVID cases in Todd County after record month

The Todd County Health Department reported two new confirmed coronavirus cases Sunday.

Both are otherwise healthy adults isolating at home, one with mild symptoms and one with mild to moderate symptoms. Neither is connected to any prior known cases and all contacts have been notified to quarantine for 14 days.

Public Health Director Jen Harris notes there were a record 115 cases in Todd County last month and she’s urging people to wear a mask, wash their hands frequently and to distance from others as much as possible.

At least 269 of Todd County’s 309 cases have recovered, 26 are healing at home, two are hospitalized and there have been 12 deaths.
