Jefferson County Public Schools announced today there will be no football games played between the dates of November 2-8. This comes as Jefferson County remains in the “red” category concerning Covid-19 rates in Kentucky. The KHSAA playoffs begin November 13th and its uncertain at this point if schools in Jefferson County will be allowed to compete.
Next week’s cancellations will also mark the first time since 1918 that Male and Manual will not play in football.
