Woman killed in Crofton house fire

A woman was killed in a fire that destroyed a home Thursday night in Crofton.

Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel identifies the victim as 64-year old Linda Wall.

The fire began about 6:30 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of East Princeton Street and four departments including Crofton responded, according to Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham.

He says Wall was pulled from the structure and taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene and the State Fire Marshal’s Office was called to assist with investigation of the fire, according to Graham.
