Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on US 68 in Logan County.
It happened just before 3 p.m. and a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year old Clyde Boggs of Russellville had been traveling on US 68 near Morgantown Road when he hit a standing pool of water and his pickup hydroplaned.
The truck went off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock and overturned onto its side.
Boggs and a passenger, 50-year old Vernon Lee of Russellville, were transported by EMS to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
