The Christian County Health Department is reporting 27 new cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday to Thursday.
According to an update, that brings the overall total of cases up to 1,990—of that, 289 cases are considered active and 1,670 people have recovered from the illness. Christian County has had 31 COVID-19 related deaths.
Broken down into age groups, there are 60 active cases in the pediatric age group, 145 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 71 in the older adult category and 13 in the elderly age group.
