The Christian County Health Department is reporting 37 new cases of COVID-19 since Saturday.
According to an update, those 37 cases puts the overall total locally at 1,908—of that, 285 cases are considered active and 1,593 people have recovered from the virus. Christian County has now had 30 COVID-19 related deaths.
Breaking it down into age groups there are currently 54 active cases in the pediatric age group, 138 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 77 in the older adult category and 16 in the elderly age group.
