The Christian County Health Department reported 43 new cases of COVID-19 locally from Thursday to Friday.
According to the update, that’s the second highest amount reported for the county and brings the overall total of cases up to 1,860—of that, 299 cases are considered active and 1,532 people have recovered from the virus.
Christian County has had 29 COVID-19 related deaths.
