Suspect arraigned in North Kentucky Ave. murder case

Arraignment was held Thursday morning in Christian District Court for the woman charged in connection with the October 12 fatal shooting of Calvin “Cue” Taylor on North Kentucky Avenue and a second suspect is sought.

Hopkinsville police charged 47-year old Larayna Manning with complicity to murder and complicity to first-degree robbery and District Judge Foster Cotthoff accepted a not guilty plea on her behalf during a video arraignment and set a preliminary hearing for October 30.

Manning requested a modification to her bond, but Judge Cotthoff denied that request, saying at this moment he believes her to be a danger to the community.

Detectives continue to ask for the public’s help to locate 24-year old Anthony Manning, who’s sought on the same charges.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
