Woman arrested for meth trafficking, child abuse

An investigation by Hopkinsville police early Saturday morning on Conference Center Drive led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville woman on methamphetamine trafficking and child abuse charges.

The incident report says 39-year old Danielle Pepper of Hopkinsville was in possession of an ounce of meth, a 9 mm handgun, digital scales and hollow point ammunition.

A child was also with her at the time, according to police.

Pepper was arrested and charged with trafficking in meth, criminal child abuse, possession of a handgun by a felon, use of restricted ammunition during commission of a felony and other charges.
