Man who allegedly pointed gun at people arrested Sunday night

A man who allegedly pointed a handgun at two people inside another vehicle Saturday night was arrested for wanton endangerment and other charges.

Hopkinsville police received a call that a passenger in a vehicle pointed a handgun at two people in another automobile and that he was followed by the victims to the North Drive Taco Bell.

An arrest citation for 21-year old Noah Dunlavey of Hopkinsville says he acknowledged he was riding in the passenger side seat of the pickup in question and said he had a handgun inside the vehicle in a red bag.

Police say they found the gun loaded with hollow point ammunition, in addition to a small amount of marijuana and digital scales.

Dunlavey was arrested for first-degree wanton endangerment, using restricted ammunition during commission of a felony, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
