Two Kentucky players received Southeastern Conference Player of the Week honors today.
Kentucky’s Jordan Wright has been named Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The linebacker played a big role in Kentucky’s 24-2 win over Mississippi State. He intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown and had six tackles which included a quarterback sack.
UK punter Max Duffy was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week. Duffy averaged 44.9 yards on eight punts in the win over Mississippi State.
