The Pennyrile Area Development District stills has loans available to help businesses impacted by the pandemic and is working to bring a free healthcare event to the area.
Meeting virtually Monday, the Board of Directors heard from Christina Wade with Delta Regional Authority, who says they’re working closely with PADD and the Department of Defense to host an event that provides no-cost dental and vision care to citizens—and they’re hoping to have it in Hopkinsville.
They’ve submitted the application and are waiting on its approval, with Wade saying this program is of great help to community members in need.
Amy Frogue with PADD says the still have around $520,000 available in their loan program that can benefit local businesses, and they’re encouraging people to apply.
