Todd County had its highest single-day total of new COVID-19 cases during the pandemic Friday at eight additional positive tests.
Five of the new patients are otherwise healthy adults isolating at home. Four have mild or moderate symptoms and one has moderate to severe symptoms.
Two of the cases are adults with underlying health conditions isolating at home with moderate symptoms and an otherwise healthy minor is at home with mild symptoms.
All known contacts have been notified to quarantine for 14 days.
At least 193 of Todd County’s 225 cases have recovered, 20 are healing at home, four are hospitalized and there have been eight deaths.
