The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has released more information on a collision that occurred on Lafayette Road Thursday.
According to the police report, a motorcycle driven by 21-year old Kalvin Kundert of Fort Campbell was heading north on Lafayette Road approaching a four-way stop at the intersection of Lafayette Road and Gracey-Herndon Road. A pickup truck driven by 54-year old Todd Knepper of Lafayette was stopped at the sign and Kundert reportedly failed to stop, colliding with the back of the truck.
Kundert was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of serious injuries. Kundert was wearing a helmet at the time of collision and Knepper was wearing a seatbelt.
