Grand jury returns indictments for possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor

A Christian County Grand Jury returned indictments for wanton endangerment Friday and an indictment for multiple counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Forty-four year old Clint Shepherd of Hopkinsville is indicted for 19 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and 19-counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. The charges are the result of an undercover online Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, with Shepherd alleged to have downloaded images of child sexual abuse material.  He allegedly admitted to searching for, downloading and saving images related to matter portraying minors in a sexual performance.

Indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, retaliating against a participant in the legal process and two counts of possession of a firearm is 35-year old John Talbert Jr. He is alleged to have fired a shotgun four times into an unoccupied vehicle on Broad Street—police say a search warrant was obtained and officers located two shotguns and ammunition.

Also indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, along with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, is 40-year old Richard Guiala of Crofton, who allegedly held a female victim at a residence against her will during a shots fired incident.
