Fog & darkness suspended first round of KHSAA boys tourney

Fog delayed the start of play and darkness suspended the first round of the KHSAA Boys State Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club yesterday. Trinity is the leader at 12 over par 300 and has a seven shot lead on Marshall County.

Meanwhile, there’s a three way tie for first place in the individual event, with
Marshall County’s Jay Nimmo, the defending champion, tied with Cooper’s Rylan Wotherspoon and Christian Academy’s Matthew Troutman after all three shot 68 in the first round.

The first round will conclude this morning with the final round also taking place today.
