The Christian County Sheriff’s Office has identified those involved in an injury crash Tuesday morning on US 68 in Fairview.
The collision report from Sgt. Jeff Goulet says 88-year old Darrell Henderson of Hopkinsville was stopped in the right eastbound lane when an SUV approaching from behind had to swerve into the left lane to avoid striking him.
Henderson told police he was having difficulty seeing because of the sun and fog.
An eastbound log truck driven by 57-year old Jackie Brandon of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee approached both from behind and hit both automobiles before going between them and running off the side of the roadway.
Henderson was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for head and arm injuries.
