Fog a factor in injury accident in Fairview

Fog was a factor in a pair of accidents involving five total vehicles Tuesday morning on US 68 in Fairview.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller says an eastbound logging truck went between two vehicles that were stopped or slowing with traffic, with the truck then going off the side of US 68.

An occupant of one of the passenger vehicles struck by the logging truck was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Behind them a stopped pickup was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer.

No injuries resulted from that crash.
