The Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville will be closed until October 19, after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a post to the club’s social media, officials were informed the staff member had tested positive on Sunday—there is a possibility that club members and other staff members were exposed to that individual leading up to that positive result.
The process is underway to contact all direct contacts, and the staff member is quarantining. As a precautionary measure, the Boys and Girls Club will be closed until October 19 to allow for deep cleaning and extended social distancing, as recommended by health officials.
