HFD launches online store to help raise money for local programs

As people continue to find ways to adjust to a COVID-19 world, the Hopkinsville Fire Department is among them by offering an online store to help benefit local agencies.

The store is made possible through a partnership with Williams Advertisement Company and holds three items, including a temperature changing coffee mug, the annual Breast Cancer Awareness shirt and a stuffed plush of Pierce the Dalmatian. Captain Michael Pendleton says all proceeds raised will benefit local agencies, including the Christmas for Kids Program and the Pink Ribbon Network.

The fire department has raised thousands of dollars in support of the Pink Ribbon Network over the years, and Pendleton says they had to come up with a way to continue to do that, while keeping every one healthy.

For more information in the initiative, contact the Hopkinsville Fire Department—the sales will stay online only, in the effort to maintain social distancing guidelines. Visit the store here
