Two transported to hospital following Pembroke Road crash

Two people were taken to Jennie Stuart Health as result of a wreck on Pembroke Road Thursday.

According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, the collision occurred on Pembroke Road near the intersection of Bill Bryan Boulevard around noon. Investigation determined a vehicle operated by 22-year old Nakayla Turner of Hopkinsville was stopped at the stop sign of Bill Bryan and saw a dump truck traveling down Pembroke Road but did not see second vehicle.

Thirty-year old Daquan Brown of Hopkinsville was heading east on Pembroke Road when Turner reportedly pulled into his path.  He was unable to avoid a collision and the two collided. Turner and her passenger, 29-year old Devin Sutton of Hopkinsville, were transported to Jennie Stuart for treatment of multiple injuries.

Brown and his passenger declined to be transported by EMS.
