What could possibly be the final Hopkinsville Movies in the Park event of the year will take place Saturday evening at the Trail of Tears Park.
Coordinator Toby Hudson appeared on the WHOP Early Bird Show Friday and says those well-known health guidelines, especially social distancing, will be in place as they have been all year. He says there will be places to sit in the grass if you so choose, but you can also adjust your radio and watch it drive-in movie style.
He says some things still need to fall into place, but there’s a chance there could be one more Movies in the Park showing, with details to be announced if so.
The movie will begin around 6:45—or when the sun goes down—and for this location it is the Indian in the Cupboard. There will be food trucks on site, along with restrooms, but people are reminded to wear a facemask while getting food or walking around.
