An investigation late Sunday night on Canton Street led to the arrest of a man who allegedly held a gun to a woman’s head.
Hopkinsville police were called to a disturbance in the 1500 block of Canton about 11:40 p.m. and learned that 42-year old Daron Bell of Hopkinsville had allegedly held a woman against her will and put a gun to her head.
The report says Bell was intoxicated and a computer check showed him to be a convicted felon.
Bell was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, unlawful imprisonment, possession of a handgun by a felon and public intoxication. He was also served with a warrant for probation violation.
