Long time Cincinnati Reds television announcer Thom Brennaman announced his resignation today. The announcement comes after he made a homophobic remark on a telecast about a month ago. Brennaman, the son of long time Reds radio broadcaster Marty Brennaman, who retired last season, had been a broadcaster for 33 years. In addition to Reds duties, Thom Brennaman was also dismissed from Fox Sports NFL telecasts.
