A two-vehicle crash Wednesday night at East Ninth and South Campbell Street in Hopkinsville sent a Cadiz woman to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
It happened just before 10 p.m. and a report from Hopkinsville police says Frederick Johnson of Cadiz was attempting to turn left from Campbell onto Ninth and struck a northbound vehicle going straight on Campbell that was driven by Frances Martinez of Cadiz.
Police say Martinez was alert, but not responsive, and she was flown to Vanderbilt after treatment at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Johnson complained of neck pain, but declined a trip to the hospital. A passenger in the Martinez vehicle, Joseph Bradshaw of Cadiz, also refused treatment for pain to his ribs.
