Christian County gained 29 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Thursday to Friday.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department update, which reports that the overall total of cases in the county is now at 1,290—of that, 233 are considered active and 1,035 people have recovered from the virus.
Broken down into age groups there are 52 active cases in the pediatric age group, 108 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, 45 in the older adult category and 28 in the elderly age group.
Christian County has now had 22 COVID-19 related deaths.
