A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon on I-24 in Christian County.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Koehler says 26-year old Brittany Banks of St. Louis, Missouri had been eastbound at a high rate of speed near the 80 mile-marker about 2:30 p.m. when she left the roadway and struck the cable barrier in the median.
Banks was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of her injuries.
