Christian County gained 22 new cases of COVID-19 from Wednesday to Thursday.
That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports that the overall total of cases is up to 1,261—of that, 223 cases are considered active and 1,018 people have recovered from the virus. Breaking it down into age groups there are 51 active cases in the pediatric age group, 109 in the young adult and middle aged grouping, 44 in the older adult category and 19 in the elderly age group.
Christian County has had 20 COVID-19 related deaths.
