The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet intends to close a portion of KY 1453 until Monday for repairs to be made.
According to a news release, the closure will take place around the nine mile marker of Howard Dickerson Road and will allow for repair work to be done on the bridge over Montgomery Creek near the Todd County line.
Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route, be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area. The duration of the closure is dependent on weather.
